Livestrong - Biking Season Officially Started
It's been a long but enjoyable winter in Calgary, AB. While I dove head first into nordic skiing this past winter, it's great to finally get back on the saddle, so to speak - the biking saddle that is.
After 10 days back on the Rock with all the hearty eating (with drinks as well!), I can sure use the endurance exercise.
Here's my ride (not exactly as pictured), purchased last year at BowCycle, Calgary:
Here's my new inspirational helmet in an attempt to find my inner "Livestrong" attitude:
1st day biking to & fro work in 2011 = May 5 - Cinco de Maya.
Initial weight (PM of May 5/11) = 177 lbs
Happy trails!

My favourite cross-country venue so far. Plenty of climbing and downhill all surrounded by spectacular scenery.
